Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse: Is it wrong that I feel bad for Osvaldo?

Since the beginning of Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse, Osvaldo has been evil. He’s plotted against Pedro to take over A Corp. He’s had numerous affairs, including with Aitana. Ew! He even kidnapped Fiorella.

Oddly enough, kidnapping Fiorella ended up being a good thing because that’s what changed him. Fiorella told Osvaldo that Sonia was pregnant and his child would grow up without a father if he killed Fiorella. She also said that she knew his child would grow up and be proud of him and that she would cover for him if he did the right thing. He did and boy did Fiorella tell a tall tale. When the police showed up, she told everyone that Osvaldo was there to rescue her.

Fiorella’s faith in him completely changed Osvaldo. Maybe a little faith is what he needed all along. He’s thrilled about his child and he’s supportive of Sonia’s singing career. He’s also helping Pedro save A Corp. from Federica. It’s been nice to see this side of Osvaldo.

Unfortunately for Osvaldo, bad guys in novelas always have tragic endings. I can’t help but think Osvaldo has changed so when he dies viewers will be sad and might shed a tear or two for him. I might be one of them.

What do you think of the changed Osvaldo? Will he meet a tragic end?

He’s definitely changed. I believe he dies in a car crash. What changed Osvaldo, apart from Fiorella’s faith in him, was knowing Sonia was expecting a son. His unborn son restored hope in him. He realized he had a chance to start over, and to be a role model for his son–and that necessitated him to repent for his crimes.

And, much like you, I will grieve his death–and I’m sure it will come. (Let’s hope we’re wrong.) Rarely do villains have a happy ending. But this villain turned over a new leaf. He has potential to be good, and it’s a pity this potential won’t be realized.

What did you think of tonight’s episode of Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse? The responsibility of saving ACorp is making Osvaldo show his nasty side again.

Osvaldo was sweet with Sonia, but not so nice when talking to Gael about Gianna. I’d like to think it’s just the pressure getting to him and that he’s not changing back to the way he was. I guess we’ll see.

      • Word Nerd says:

That’s what I thought. The pressure was too much for him. and all of us have been under pressure before, so we know how easy it is to snap at our loved ones.

I actually couldn’t contain myself and read the ending. It’s…well, I won’t spoil it for you. Let’s just say it’s unexpected.

Well Osvaldo had mixed feelings with Gael because he discovered that he was not an Angeles and he didn’t want his mother’s memory to be messed up. He even tried to manipulate Gael with Gianna’s sickness

    • Jennifer Britt says:

Osvaldo didn’t see the bigger picture, which was no matter what he and Gael were brothers. That didn’t change. He was more concerned with his mother’s memory than the present, which mattered more.

Ok I know the novela already ended like 2 weeks ago but I want to say that Mike Biagio did a great job in all the stages of Osvaldos character and also in his death scene which was so sad and heartbreaking.

Well I have read that Mike was auditioning to play the Villano of Pedro Damians next novela but he is still not confirmed. After he finished muchacha italiana, he has been acting in theater and he filmed a movie called Heroes DE LA seguridad. Also he recently finished filming a series of singer Joan Sebastian in which he again worked with Livia Brito.

  5. Marla Gonzalez says:

I think that Mike said in an interview that the series of Joan Sebastian was coming in May but I read that only will last 17 episodes. Mike plays Joan’s brother and manager, Federico but in the series is called Enrico.
