This week, Brenda Bartolomeo from Betting Brenda is back to discuss The Bachelorette and make her prediction.
JB: Brenda, thanks for joining me again. Last time you were here was right after the premiere. I asked you at that point who you would pick for Desiree and you said Drew. Now that you’ve watched the rest of the season, would you still pick Drew?
Brenda: No. He’s cute and seems very sincere, but Drew isn’t the right guy for Desiree. In fact, I feel bad for both Drew and Chris. She’s been stringing the two of them along even though she’s been in love with Brooks the whole time.
JB: What do you think of Brooks?
Brenda: He’s a very confused man and he doesn’t know how to break up with a woman. He kept rambling on and on and hugging Desiree. I think if he truly didn’t love her, he wouldn’t have hugged her.
JB: You think it’s love?
Brenda: Yes, it’s definitely love.
JB: Brooks was driving off in the limo at the end of the episode, but it sounds like you think Desiree and Brooks aren’t done yet.
Brenda: They are far from done. Brooks was crying and saying he didn’t want to leave her before he got in the limo.
JB: Do you think Brooks will leave Antigua?
Brenda: No. My prediction is that Brooks is going to realize he’s made a terrible mistake and go running back to her.
JB: The rumors floating around the Internet indicate that Desiree is engaged to Brooks so you might be right. This is definitely the most emotional and dramatic finale in The Bachelorette history. I’m looking forward to it.
Brenda: I wouldn’t miss this one. I think it’s going to be quite romantic.
JB: Thanks for stopping by.
Brenda: Thanks for inviting me back.
JB: Make sure to check out Brenda’s story in Betting Brenda and, in a couple of weeks, I’ll be back with another post in my martial arts series.
